NARS Gaiety Blush

I'm lacking in the blushing department so whilst I was browsing the NARS counter in Selfridges I thought that I would get a new NARS Blusher! They have some great shades in their collection but as soon as I saw this I knew I HAD to have it. I love the NARS packaging for their powders, you all know I like a good mirror in my compact and they are just so sturdy so you don't have to worry with them being in your makeup bag and getting all messed up. I personally don't have that problem as you know I'm a weirdo and I keep my products in their packaging as long as possible!

So this is my first NARS blush and like I said I bought it in Selfridges when I went there last week which was fun but I didn't get the best service at a counter. The lady at the counter just came across a bit snotty and acted like she really didn't want to be there which I think is always disappointing. I would love to work at a counter like that as it means I get to spend so much time around makeup and specially being in Selfridges but she just didn't seem like she wanted to be there and she really didn't want to serve me! It's okay though as I got a pretty blush anyway.
I've developed a real love for NARS Cosmetics as of late, I've had Laguna Bronzer for ages but recently I upgraded my base routine with the NARS Sheer Matte and the Radiant Creamy Concealer (you can see the review here) and I really loved it which has given me a love for NARS and now I want more..
This is a bright candy pink colour and I think it looks great on fair skin tones like myself. I 'm not talking thick streaks on the cheeks but for a light dusting, it can make your skin look very pretty and preppy. I know it looks scary with it being so bright but I love fun looking products like this as its what you like, not what you have to like and this is so pretty!
This along with all of the other NARS blushers are £22.50 which is a little pricey for a blush but you have to remember that this lasts for a VERY long time so it's really an investment instead.
Also, thoughts on the different picture layout...?! It's something I just threw together but I like it! Let me know what you think.

Do you own any blushers? If so, let me know which ones suite fair skin tones!

  1. Love this blush, it's so pretty, I have a very similar colour by Bobbi Brown and the shade really does look lovely on!

  2. Such a shame about the service, it totally ruins the fun of buying makeup. But that aside, this is a gorgeous shade!

  3. Its annoying about the service, this tends to happen at make-up counters quite a lot! The blush is really pretty though, such a gorgeous colour! :)

  4. This is an amazing shade! I love the packaging too, i'm so clumsy so I love that it protects the product. It's such a shame about the service, I find they can be like that sometimes.
