Makeup Revolution where kind enough to send me this pretty palette the other week and I could not wait until I could create a look using it. This is actually one of the first palettes that comes with a double ended brush too and yet the whole palette is still £6.99?! How they do it, I will never know! So I just wanted to touch on the brush as this is one of the first Makeup Rev brushes i've ever used before. The brush has a thin fluffy end to get a really blended look in the crease and a compact flat end to pack the shadow on the lid. I will say that I think that the fluffier end is perfect for a really defined crease but I think the flat end has maybe a little too many bristles packed into it as I find it to apply the product a little patchy unless you build it up. It's defnitly nice to see an actual brush in a palette instead of a stupid foam applicator!
I'm enjoying the packaging on this palette as the top of the palette is a matte finish which I love. I really prefer matte packaging over shiny as then you can see marks etc when you've been using them.

Now I have heard that this is a dupe for the Lorac Pro 1 but unfortunatly, I can't comment as I dont have that palette untill I go to Florida in 2 months time. *sobs*. I am loving this palette as its definitly a day to night palette which is one of my favourite colour ranges. There is a row of matte shadows on the top and a row of shimmers on the bottom along going from light to dark so you can create a soft subtle day look or glam it up with a touch more shimmer and a darker shade.
I created the look below using Fade, Drama, Afflicted blended in the crease and for depth then Getter and Breathe for a shimmer on the lids and Dawn in the corner for a highlight. Of course my favourite liner as well, the Awesome Double Flick Liquid Liner. I'm so excited to be back casting looks, you can expect a lot more in the next few weeks. I feel like my mojo is back!
Have you purchased this palette? Let me know your thoughts!

I haven't got this palette but the shades look absolutely amazing! I look forward to seeing how close it is to the Lorac Pro Palette!
