Benefit Roller Lash Mascara

Of corse the fluffy rug is back, I can't help but take photos on it, its just there! and its comfy to take photos on..
Anyway, back to the product. This is the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara or what I like to call, my new bestie. With me when it comes to mascara, I like the thinner plastic bristles ends other than the huge big chunky ones. I have lashes that will just clump if something isn't lifting and combing them out and this little beauty does exactly that.
I'm not one for hypes, if tones of people say its amazing then yeah, maybe i'll try it but 9 times out of 10 I don't as I prefer to decide what i'd like and pick my own must haves (as you can tell because this mascara has been around for a fair few weeks now and I've only just got the full size). I received a sample of this in an ELLE magazine about two months a go and as soon as I tried it, I was telling everyone that they needed to get it just to try out its awesomeness. Lucky for Benefit as their advertising method worked on me because within a month I had popped over to Boots and picked up the normal size with a gift card from christmas (bonus) and i've still loved it ever since.
Now, just for a quick compare of the They're Real and the Roller Lash. If you loved the They're Real mascara for its brush end, this is slightly different as it has a curve to it to get those lashes curly and the bristles are alternate lengths where as the They're Real Mascara is straight and same sized spikes all over. I personally wasn't a fan of Benefit They're Real as I couldn't get it off my lashes properly and I know that was the point of it but i'm really not into that as I don't wear waterproof mascara. This has some staying power which is good to hold a curl but enough to wash it off easily.
I know that this has been a debated product among the beauty blogger world. Personally I have quite curly lashes so they always stay up right but my friend Lindsay has very straight lashes and has she found that she still needed to use her eye lash curler when using this mascara to get the desired affect. Overall, its an all rounder for me, lengthens, separates and add volume. If you know your preferred mascara shapes and its along the same lines as this one then go and buy it as its well worth it!

So go on then, tell me your thoughts? Love or Hate?!

  3. I found it was good at lifting and curling my eyelashes, but it didn't really work for me overall as it didn't provide them with any volume so they looked a little like spider's legs! Great post xx

  4. I am not too keen on Benefit mascaras and haven't heard that many good reviews about it but you have tempted me!! I'm using a MAC mascara at the moment and it's really amazing. xx

  6. I was really sad because I didn't get on that well with this mascara. I found the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara was very similar and worked a lot better on my lashes. I'm glad you've found a perfect mascara for those lovely lashes x
