Review | Makeup Revolution Give Them Nightmares Salvation Palette

Halloween is just round the corner so its time to pull out those dark shadows and get messy with your make up. Makeup Revolution knew this time was coming so they got fully prepared and released this scary palette just in time for us to get our spook on. This is a new palette in the salvation line called Give Them Nightmares. The salvation palettes all consists of 6 matte shades and 12 shades with a shimmer or glitter finish to them which is a great mix. When I received this palette, my mind immediately thought about a ton of ideas for some Halloween looks (watch this space) as theres so many compatible shades. This palette is is limited edition but I think it'll be around for a while.
The thing I love about it is that its completely unique. I literally have nothing like this in my collection which is refreshing as the same browns or earth tones can get boring, you need some fun in your life!
I've gone all out this post and done an arm full of cheeky swatches just to show you how good these shadows really are. What can I say, i'm treating you!
I know that a lot of people are scared of dark or bold colours but fear not! You can just start lightly and build up with maybe a smoked out bottom lash line or just a little crease definition! Practise always makes perfect with shades like these so don't be scared to experiment just before you wash off your make up of the day.
I think the thing that makes this palette amazing is that its only £6. I mean, Makeup Revolution keep making these palettes that I just can't fault. Theres even a giant mirror in there, what more could you want! All they need to do it make brushes now.. *hint hint*
I'm so excited to see if they come out with anything else new in time for christmas!

Does anyone else have this palette?!

  2. The shades in this palette are so intense and pigmented but probably just a tad out of my comfort zone. Great for Halloween though x

  7. wow- that shade 'Depravity' is seriously amazing. It looks almost luminous! I like it but I dont think I'd buy this, only because I'm too old to get away with really bright colours, so I don't think I'd use it much! xx
