February Faves '15

So I'm a little late off the mark but I thought why not. I've been seriously slacking on post lately but i've spent this whole weekend getting my act together and this will be the first of many this month!
Just a few things I've been loving this month, first off I want to mention my new Kate Spade phone case. Since I got my my phone, all I want to do is keep it as pristine as possible, so it has a screen cover on it and this lovely new rubber case! I purchased this in Bicester Village and it was only £12! Bargain and super protective on my phone.
I have server under eye creasage and its awful! It literally makes me look like an old lady and I dont know what the best products are to use for it as even MAC prolongwear creases on me. One of the only products that help reduce the situation is a powder. I've been really enjoying the Collection 2000 loose powder which I have had for absolutely ages but haven't given it a real chance. I really like this powder to set my concealer and until I go on the hunt for a new one, this is a good and very purse friendly!
I have developed a huge love for blusher in the last few months (which you will see in a post soon) and this Estée Lauder blusher has literally been my life for the last month. This was also another bargain I bought at Bicester Village which makes me love it even more. I love how I can have a different grade of intensity with it being ombre and the formua is beautiful. I seriously need a lot more of these blushes, another trip to Bicester Village cannot come soon enough! I picked this up for £18, which from £27, is a nice few pounds off.
Next on the list is the Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes Mascara. Now this is yet to grace my blog, the pictures have been taken so the full review will be up soon. All you need to know is I'm picky about my mascaras and this one without a doubt makes the cut! It is definitely worth the £22 I paid for it!
I am unbelievably into contouring as I have a rather round face, I feel like it really slims it down and gives it some structure back. I normally use the L'Oreal GlamBronze but I have been into a lighter ashy toned powder to contour with. This is actually 4 shades darker then the True Match foundation I use so I find it to be perfect to create the shadows on my face. Not only that, my skin is so pale at the minute so it doesn't need to be contoured out with bronzer, not until the summer anyway!
Last but of course not least, this little gem. I have never really seen people speak about the Bare Minerals eye shadows and I'm seriously wondering why. Its such like a pigment for the shadows and I love this colour! Its a beautiful champagne colour which I can't get enough of on the lids with a cool darker tone blended out in the crease. It gives that effortless look with maximum effect. I know that MAC Pigments are very popular and these are £3 cheaper.. I know its not a lot but if you fancy trying pigments maybe give these ones a try first before committing to the real thing - I love them!

I apologise this post is a little late but I hope you enjoy!

  3. Ooh I love that collection powder! Although Rimmel Stay Matte Compressed powder is my fave, sets foundation with a light matte finish if you're looking to try another
