January Faves '15

We're back on the rug for the first favourites post of 2015! I'm so in consistent with my photos, I'm actually just starting to like it. Daylight seems to be the hardest thing to get hold of these days and when you're picture taking in your hour lunch break, it is just easier to lay it on the new incredibly fluffy rug and snap away then spend ages setting up the background properly. This is where I need to be more proactive and plan my posts more. What can I say? I'm just a little forgetful.

I know to some it might not have felt like it went quickly but to me it is insane that the first month of 2015 is already over. This now means that I can say my 21st birthday is next month and that scares me SO MUCH. I'm having a small mid life crisis and I feel the need to buy a lot of make up. Which will probably happen.. don't judge me.
So i'll start from the top of the scattered products and first on the list is the Nars Sheer Matte. You can read a whole review on this and the concealer here but if you can't be bothered, (I don't blame you) I will just let you know that I have been absolutely loving this foundation in the last month or so! I love the texture, consistency and I have found it to be very long wearing. I've spent a few times in London the past month and whilst I'm walking about the shops, I normally suffer from major makeup malfunction where my oily skin doesn't understand that I have just gone from a cold outdoors and into a warm shop and decides to get all flustered and start to shine up. This foundation keeps all of that at bay. What a good egg.
Both items from the Bobbi Brown Scotch on the Rocks collection have been my go to items since I got them in the December. The Shimmer Brick is a beautiful warm colour that gives me the perfect glow whilst the palette consists of the perfect 9 shades to create any brown toned look from day time effortless to smoked out glam. I haven't reviewed the palette as by the time I got it, it was sold out so I didn't to have people wanting it then not being able to get it!
As were on the topic of eye shadow, I'd like to introduce you to my new best friend - the Zoeva 227 blending brush. It has seriously revolutionized my eye make up and I love it. It gives you the prettiest blended look and its only around £6.50 which is so much cheaper than the MAC version.
Next on the rug is one of the newer lipsticks to the small MAC collection I have and that is Viva Glam V. It's my only Viva Glam and I love it. I'm really into Lustre finishes as I like the glossy finish they have and they are so moisturizing on my poor dry lips. This was one of my Christmas presents from the boyfriend (good lad) and I have pretty much been wearing it nonstop since I got it. Well, that and Japanese Maple that I picked up the other week and I'm yet to review. Bad blogger I know!
I threw in some bath/shower products in here too just to mix it up a little. I found that huge bottle of Bed Head conditioner for only £9.99 in B&M Stores, absolute bargain. This conditioner has completely rejuvenated my hair from dry and damaged to moisturised and actually looking like I care about it which is a nice change! If you have a B&M Stores near you, go check it out as they have pretty much the whole range of Bed Head shampoos and conditioners stocked.
Last but not least, my favourite item when taking a bath. I am completely addicted to the smell of Champneys Spa Indulgence Distant Shores Bubble Bath. It is such a sweet and calming smell, I really love it. I got this smaller sized one in a gift set for christ along with two of the other bubble baths they do. The full size is a little on the pricey size but if you get the chance to get it when it's on three for two at Boots, stock up and it will last you for a while!
So after going back and forth, there is my first favourites of 2015, let me know what your favourites are in the comments below!
